The Caribbean’s Wettest and Wildest attraction, Splash Island Water Park Saint Lucia, will be celebrating its 1 year anniversary on August 1st, 2016.

There will be a special guest appearance by Soca artist and crowd pleaser extraordinaire, Ezra D Fun Machine, alongside Jiggy and Scoobay, who will perform the popular tune, “Swim My Way” as well as other great hits. There will also be a special guest DJ on hand who will entertain the crowd. Treats will be available on hand for park guests starting from 10 am.

Mrs Julianna Ward DestangPark founder and Managing Director, Mrs. Julianna Ward-Destang, who won the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award, conceptualized the idea of Splash Island in March of 2015 and was able to make her dream of introducing the Caribbean’s first open-water sports park a reality on August 1st, 2015. Almost a year later, over 25,000 patrons have gotten the chance to experience the thrills and spills as well as enjoy the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea while having the time of their lives.

The park has also provided thousands of complimentary tickets since its opening to under-privileged children from the community, the Boys Training Center and the Holy Family Children’s home. Splash Island recently partnered with the Caribbean Premiere League to host 60 kids as well as the St. Lucia Zouks for the first ever CPL Beach Olympics Event.

Mrs. Ward- Destang encourages all kids, thrill seekers, families and weekend warriors to come out on Monday, August 1st, which is a public holiday (Emancipation Day) in Saint Lucia, to celebrate this momentous occasion.
